Gang-Raped 8 Year-Old Girl Shunned By Parents. In Arizona.

Why immigration policy is important.

From Fox News: In Phoenix, four boys, aged 9, 10, 13 and 14, lured an 8 year old girl to a shed with chewing gum, then brutally gang raped her. They were caught fleeing the scene by police responding to reports of hysterical screaming.

After the boys were arrested, the girl's parents criticized her for bringing shame on the family. Her father told investigators, with the girl present, to 'take her, I don't want her'. Police say all the families are refugees from Liberia, where rape victims are often shunned by their own relatives.

Authorities said the victim was in the care of Child Protective Services after her parents blamed her for the rapes and bringing shame to the family.

Hill cited the family's background as the reason the family shunned the girl.

In many parts of Africa, women often are blamed for being raped for "enticing" men or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"And what's so disturbing beyond the initial crime is the fact that a child needs to have somewhere to feel safe, and you would think that would be in a home with her own family," not in state custody...
The 14 year old rapist has been charged as an adult and is being held without bond in the Maricopa County Jail. I expect the bleeding hearts to call for his immediate release in 5, 4, 3, 2...
