A Soldier Explains The Constitution
Do you remember when, in 2006, John Kerry insulted the intelligence of every member of our armed forces when he made this stupid comment?
To prove we might want more soldiers and fewer lawyers in Congress, watch as this young soldier delivers a lesson in Constitutional separation of powers to Claire McCaskill's town hall meeting on health care. Could someone explain the concept to John Kerry, please?
If the response from the audience in St. Louis is indicative of town hall meetings around the country, we should all take heart. The Obamanation of Obamacare isn't a done deal. We have a chance to stop it. Call, write or e-mail your Representatives and Senators. Click here for a map of House districts, or here for the Senate if you need contact information.

Obama's New Rock-Inspired Logo
UPDATE: I refined the graphic a bit and it is now available on buttons and t-shirts at my Zazzle site.
Sorry, Bob. It was just so....fitting. I had to do it. You know I love ya.
From 'Ship of Fools', also by Bob Seger:

From 'Ship of Fools', also by Bob Seger:
...Is there something else I should know?
Something hidden down below the level of your conversation?
Well he turned away before the answer
Though I yelled aloud he refused to hear
It became too clear...

Gang-Raped 8 Year-Old Girl Shunned By Parents. In Arizona.
Why immigration policy is important.
From Fox News: In Phoenix, four boys, aged 9, 10, 13 and 14, lured an 8 year old girl to a shed with chewing gum, then brutally gang raped her. They were caught fleeing the scene by police responding to reports of hysterical screaming.
After the boys were arrested, the girl's parents criticized her for bringing shame on the family. Her father told investigators, with the girl present, to 'take her, I don't want her'. Police say all the families are refugees from Liberia, where rape victims are often shunned by their own relatives.

Authorities said the victim was in the care of Child Protective Services after her parents blamed her for the rapes and bringing shame to the family.
Hill cited the family's background as the reason the family shunned the girl.
In many parts of Africa, women often are blamed for being raped for "enticing" men or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"And what's so disturbing beyond the initial crime is the fact that a child needs to have somewhere to feel safe, and you would think that would be in a home with her own family," not in state custody...The 14 year old rapist has been charged as an adult and is being held without bond in the Maricopa County Jail. I expect the bleeding hearts to call for his immediate release in 5, 4, 3, 2...

ObamaCare: Designed By Rube Goldberg?
Back around 1930, Rube Goldberg became famous for his illustrations of 'absurdly-connected machines'. A 'Rube Goldberg machine' is a 'deliberately over-engineered apparatus that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion'.
This organizational chart of the House Democrat's Health Care Plan would be laughable if Goldberg had drawn it. Sadly, it results from analysis of the actual legislation our 'representatives' want to foist on us.
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH), the House Republican Leader, released a statement today which included the organizational outline:

'The chart ... identifies at least 31 new federal programs, agencies, commissions and mandates that accompany the unprecedented government takeover of health care in America.'Unless we act quickly, this is where we are headed, America. Be very afraid!
Michigan Welcomes Obama. Or Not.
Our Dear Leader visited Michigan yesterday to pledge billions in new spending (of your tax dollars) for community college improvements and displaced worker retraining. No word on where he plans to get this money, since our great-great-grandchildren have already been indebted to pay for his other programs.
Not everyone in Michigan was all that thrilled to see ol' Barry, as these photos illustrate.

Welcome To Michigan, Mr. President
President Obama is holding an invitation-only 'town hall meeting' on Tuesday, July 14th in Macomb County, Michigan. We are not invited, Crumb Crunchers. Imagine my surprise.
We're planning a little welcoming committee for Dear Leader despite the snub. Please join us. Bring a sign, a flag, the kids, etc. Just be civil, please! Here are the details:
Macomb Community College, South Campus
14500 E. 12 Mile Road (corner of 12 Mile Road & Hayes Road)
Warren, MI
Arrive at 1:00 p.m. Follow the above link for a campus map and driving directions. I'll be there; hope you are, too!

A Soldier Goes Home
I hope you will take time to watch all of this video, because it proves what we instinctively know in our hearts: Barack Obama, his snarky wife and their anti-American cohorts are flat-out wrong about America, her people and our spirit.
Sgt. John C. Beale was just 39 years old. He was killed in Afghanistan on June 4, 2009 and was flown home to Georgia on June 11, 2009. The local newspapers printed details of the route to be taken from the airport to the cemetery. Thousands of people in every town along the way did the rest on their own.
This video was taken from one of the escort vehicles as Sgt. Beale's body was transported for burial. Thank you for your service, Sgt. Beale. Rest in peace and God bless you.
