Detroit Hearts Jazz!

This weekend Detroiters are celebrating the 30th anniversary of our beloved Detroit International Jazz Festival, formerly known as the Montreux Detroit. For all it's problems, this is still a great town, and we love our music. If you can, come join us. If you can't, enjoy this little taste of the sights and sounds of the Motor City.

I've been scarce this week, Crumb Crunchers, but big things are brewing here in my little corner of the universe. Watch this space for more details soon. In the meantime, here's your Thursday jazz selection: Detroit-based and fabulously talented flutist Alexander Zonjic. Enjoy!

It's a gloriously sunny, soon-to-be warm day in Michigan and this bright, happy music just fits my mood. If you don't find your toes tapping.....get some more coffee, stat!

Here's some really great jazz to pick you up on a Thursday morning. It seemed a fitting choice, since we're all living in the land of make-believe-the-government-will-bail-you-out. Enjoy the music. It's the only 'stimulus' you're gonna get, Crumb Crunchers.
