On the federal government owning 50% of - and de facto running - General Motors, Nolan opined that it will not work because 'they're not in the car business. They're in the government business and they can't run that, either.'

Actually, my title notwithstanding, Nolan Finley is one newspaper man who usually 'gets it' and isn't afraid to say so. Now THAT'S news!
