Wise Guy: Ronald Reagan

Ronald Wilson Reagan, the 40th President of the United States, was known as the Great Communicator for a reason. With poignancy and wit, he spoke timeless principles of freedom and conservatism directly to the hearts of Americans everywhere. We would be well-advised to heed his words today.


"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."

President Reagan was a very wise man indeed.

Muslim TV Station Founder Beheads Wife

The Buffalo (New York) News reported today that Mr. Muzzammil Hassan, 44, an influential area businessman, is under arrest for murdering his wife, Aasiya Z. Hassan, by beheading her.
Authorities say Aasiya Hassan recently had filed for divorce from her husband.

"She had an order of protection that had him out of the home as of Friday the 6th [of February]
A lot of good that protection order did her. Hell hath no fury like a Muslim man scorned.
Mr. Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.
Seriously. Nothing says 'positive portrayal of Muslims' like chopping off your wife's head because she wants a divorce. We can only pray Mr. Hassan's 'influence' had nothing to do with promoting domestic violence and murder.
